Before you write
Reminders not firing?
- Open iOS Settings → Notifications → SyncMeds. Make sure notifications are allowed and "Time Sensitive Notifications" is enabled.
- Check that Focus / Do Not Disturb isn't blocking SyncMeds. SyncMeds reminders are marked time-sensitive and should break through, but a custom Focus filter can still block them.
- Open SyncMeds to let it reschedule. iOS sometimes drops pending notifications after an app update.
AI pharmacy call isn't working?
- AI calls require a SyncMeds Pro subscription AND a backend URL configured in Settings → API Keys.
- If your organization deployed the SyncMeds backend, your admin can give you the URL.
- Without a backend configured, SyncMeds falls back to "Assisted Calling" — it opens the native Phone app and shows an on-screen script to read aloud. This is always free.
Scan feature won't read my label?
- Make sure camera permission is granted: iOS Settings → SyncMeds → Camera
- Hold the phone still and steady. Good lighting helps a lot.
- If your Rx label has small text, zoom in before capturing.
- For prescription PDFs or emails, tap "Open a PDF or Email" instead of the camera.
Family tracking isn't showing up?
- Multi-profile tracking requires SyncMeds Pro. Go to Settings → Family to add a family member.
- When you add a medication, make sure you've switched to the right profile in the chip strip at the top of the screen.
- Tap "Everyone" to see the Family Hub with adherence rings for every profile.
I want to delete all my data
- Settings → Delete All Data. This is permanent and irreversible.
- Or delete the SyncMeds app from your home screen — that removes the encrypted data files along with the app.
